Trade Finance Business Analyst / Customer Journey Manager – Banking Transformation Contract | Hybrid (2 days onsite) | London or Edinburgh We are hiring an experienced Trade Finance Business Analyst / Customer Journey Manager to support a major banking transformation programme focused on customer journey mapping, API-led digitisation and Trade Finance modernisation. This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience across Documentary Trade, Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Receivables Finance and end-to-end client journey transformation within banking or financial services environments. Key Responsibilities: • Map and optimise end-to-end customer journeys across Trade Finance products • Work closely with business, product, architecture and engineering teams • Support API-led transformation and digital Trade Finance initiatives • Define as-is and to-be processes and service design frameworks • Translate business requirements into technical and functional solutions • Support governance, design reviews and stakeholder workshops • Manage dependencies, risks and integration challenges across multiple systems Required Experience: • Strong Trade Finance domain expertise • Experience in customer journey mapping or service design • Knowledge of Documentary Trade, Letters of Credit, Guarantees, SCF or Receivables Finance • Experience delivering transformation programmes within banking or financial services • Agile delivery experience and stakeholder management skills • Exposure to APIs, digital transformation or modern architecture environments Desirable: • Experience with Finastra, Surecomp, FIS or similar Trade platforms • Previous banking transformation or Trade digitisation programmes
