Logistics Operator Location: Enfield, UK Salary: £27,000 Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-12.30pm Contract Type: Permanent Purpose of the Role: As a Logistics Operator, you will support the Warehouse Manager by ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and movement of materials. This includes accurate transaction entry, reporting, and supporting production needs. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain a clean, safe workspace and quality materials. * Release shop orders, create pick lists, marshal kits, and complete 1st issue transactions. * Update stock records for shortages and non-shop order issues. * Vet material requisitions and marshal materials for other stores/warehouses. * Perform daily cycle counts, update records, and report variances. * Initiate stock replenishment and manage material returns. * Receive, store, and manage materials efficiently. * Pick, pack, and update records for customer orders. * Facilitate customer collections and stock disposals. Required Skills: Candidates should have experience in a similar logistics or warehouse role and be self-motivated with strong communication skills. Key requirements include forklift operation (valid license required), physical fitness for manual tasks, and proficiency in warehouse systems. Candidates must also be willing to work outdoors or beyond standard hours as needed.
