Business Architect (BPSS) in Leiston

If so, our client, who are currently involved in one of the UK's largest energy infrastructure projects intended to provide long-term, low-carbon electricity generation are seeking a Business Architect (BPSS Minimum) to support the Business Architecture Lead in defining, planning, and delivering Business Architecture projects for the Customers Digital & IT team. This role holder will work closely with senior stakeholders and project teams to design effective and efficient business operating models, ensuring that proposed changes are strategically aligned and deliver measurable benefits. The Business Architect will remain engaged through development and implementation phases, managing evolving requirements, validating solutions, and supporting readiness for business adoption. Your responsibilities: The Business Architect receives delivery objectives from the Business Architecture Lead and may work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team. While the role holder may specialize in process, IT, or management information, they are expected to maintain a broad understanding of all Business Architecture disciplines to identify interdependencies and ensure integrated solutions. They will lead early-stage project definition, develop project mandates, and prepare investment cases, working with suppliers and internal teams to identify best-fit solutions. The role operates within the Customer Digital & IT governance structures, aligning with project management, procurement, and regulatory requirements, and ensuring solutions comply with industry standards and Customer license obligations. * Highly organised and proactive. * Comfortable working on a live construction site. * Strong at coordinating people and analysing requirements. * Confident challenging suppliers and driving actions to completion. * Able to build relationships quickly across operational and technical teams. * Pragmatic, delivery-focused and comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience: Experience: * Experience coordinating complex infrastructure, facilities, telecommunications, networking, or connectivity projects * Experience with physical hardware fit design, planning, procurement, and installation for the above activities * Experience working on large site mobilisation programmes * Experience working alongside: * Facilities Management teams * Site Operations teams * Construction delivery teams * Network and telecommunications engineers * Infrastructure or IT operations teams * Internet, and Telephony Service providers and contractors Essential Qualifications & Experience: * Relevant qualifications and experience in one or more business architecture disciplines: process management, business analysis, management information, or IT system development. Understand business problems and translate them into clear, structured requirements. * Experience delivering business architecture solutions that remove duplication and improve operational efficiency. Turn requirements into practical IT delivery packages (processes, user stories, data needs, etc.). Work comfortably with technical teams and concepts. * Familiarity with ONR licence conditions and cyber/nuclear security requirements relevant to IT-enabled change. * Experience of formal project management approaches (e.g., PRINCE2, EDF Project Way) and tools. * Experience of procurement activities (RFI, ITT) and evaluation processes. * Proven experience in developing investment cases for large, complex programmes. * Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business. * Experience on another major capital project like HS2, Lower Thames Crossing, Thames Tideway, TransPennine Route Upgrade, etc. Agents Note: Only CV's who have answered 'Yes' to the provided Screening Questions will be considered for this role
