A leading engineering organisation is seeking an ILS Engineer to support the delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities across defence, naval and surveillance programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supportability Engineer, ILS Engineer or Support Engineering professional with a strong understanding of defence supportability standards and through-life support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities across the project lifecycle
- Conduct Supportability Analysis and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Develop Spares Ranging & Scaling recommendations
- Perform Whole Life Cost (WLC) analysis
- Support Obsolescence Management activities
- Maintain and update Logistic Information Repositories
- Support bid and proposal activities for ILS and training solutions
- Work with engineering, programme and customer stakeholders to improve support solutions
Requirements
- Experience within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Supportability Engineering or Support Engineering
- Knowledge of Supportability Analysis, LORA and Through-Life Support
- Experience working within defence, naval, maritime, surveillance or government programmes
- Understanding of Def Stan 00-60, Def Stan 00-600 and Defence Logistic Framework principles
- Exposure to ASD S3000L is highly desirable
- Strong technical communication and stakeholder management skills
