We are recruiting for a Senior Data Consultant to lead enterprise data strategy, data governance and AI readiness initiatives.

This senior consulting role will work directly with CXO-level stakeholders, shaping data strategy, operating models, technology roadmaps and large-scale data transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver enterprise data strategy aligned with business priorities.
  • Design data operating models across business units, IT and the Chief Data Office (CDO).
  • Establish data governance, ownership, stewardship, data quality and decision-making frameworks.
  • Assess data maturity and AI readiness, creating actionable transformation roadmaps.
  • Advise on modern data architecture, cloud data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, MDM, metadata management and data cataloguing.
  • Evaluate AWS and GCP solutions, AI/ML platforms, integration, APIs and real-time streaming technologies.
  • Support vendor selection, build-vs-buy decisions and technology investment priorities.
  • Lead executive workshops and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology.

Essential Skills

  • Enterprise data strategy and data transformation experience.
  • Strong data governance and data operating model expertise.
  • Proven CXO, C-suite or senior executive advisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP and modern cloud data architecture.
  • Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, data engineering and analytics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, facilitation and communication skills.

Desirable Experience working with a Chief Data Office, GDPR, responsible AI, data ethics, MDM, metadata management, data quality, cloud certification or large-scale transformation programmes.
