An established aerospace manufacturing business is seeking a Quality Engineer to support product quality, compliance, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction across a high-performance production environment. This is a hands-on manufacturing quality role focused on AS9100 compliance, root cause analysis, APQP and defect reduction within a regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing and production quality activities across the value stream
  • Conduct audits to AS9100, ISO9001 and aerospace quality standards
  • Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why and corrective action methodologies
  • Drive continuous improvement, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives
  • Support APQP, PFMEA, DFMEA, PPAP and Control Plans
  • Review First Article Inspection documentation to AS9102
  • Monitor supplier quality and manufacturing quality performance metrics
  • Work closely with engineering, operations and customers to resolve quality issues

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer
  • Aerospace, aviation or regulated manufacturing background
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 and ISO9001
  • Experience with APQP, PFMEA, 8D and Root Cause Analysis
  • SAP or MRP system experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
