Security Consultant – Remote UK
7-month contract | Remote | Occasional attendance for events
We are looking for an experienced Security Consultant to provide security assurance across a complex enterprise technology environment, working closely with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, risk and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Security assessments and assurance for new systems, integrations and technology changes.
- Apply Secure by Design principles and assess security risks and controls.
- Manage security risks, exceptions, remediation and residual risk.
- Provide assurance across IAM/PAM, Cloud Security, Network Security, penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- Assess solutions against NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Zero Trust and OWASP Top 10.
Essential Experience
- Security Assurance / Security Consultancy in complex enterprise environments.
- Secure by Design and security risk assessments.
- NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
- IAM/PAM, Data Security, Cloud Security and Network Security.
- Security risk, remediation and exception management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement with architects, engineers and delivery teams.
Desirable
- Financial Services or regulated-industry experience.
- CISSP or CISM.
- PCI DSS, GDPR and regulatory compliance experience.
