This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional looking to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while developing their advisory expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.
As Corporate Tax Manager, you will manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, providing both compliance and advisory services to owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and growing companies across a range of sectors.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client service, identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting the development of junior team members.
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients and acting as their primary point of contact.
- Reviewing and overseeing corporate tax compliance work, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Providing tax advisory services on a broad range of matters, including:
- Capital gains tax planning
- Share schemes and employee incentives
- Business acquisitions and disposals
- EIS and SEIS reliefs
- Assisting clients with HMRC enquiries and tax investigations.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior tax team members.
- Working alongside Partners and Directors on complex advisory projects.
Strong corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
Excellent technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to identify and deliver value-added tax planning opportunities.
