We are recruiting for a PVITC / CAT Engineer to support Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) propulsion and charging systems within a leading automotive engineering environment. This role focuses on Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) and first-level (L0) issue triage, supporting vehicle users and engineering teams to ensure propulsion and charging issues are analysed, documented and routed effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform L0 triage and analysis of propulsion and charging system issues
- Support vehicle-level testing across BEV platforms
- Analyse test data using INCA or equivalent tools
- Ensure high-quality data capture, reporting and issue tracking
- Liaise with propulsion, software integration, vehicle engineering and quality teams
- Support issue replication on vehicles or test rigs where required
- Contribute to CAT process metrics and reporting
Essential Experience
- Experience in BEV / EV propulsion or powertrain systems
- Background in vehicle testing, validation or integration
- Hands-on use of INCA, ETAS or similar data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics
- Structured problem-solving approach in a technical environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- High-voltage system or component testing experience
- Automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier background
