We are recruiting a Lab Engineer / Laboratory IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT and EUC support within a scientific / R&D laboratory environment. This is a fully onsite role, supporting scientists with laboratory PCs, instruments, and connected devices. We are looking for someone practical who has strong desktop support, Active Directory, and lab-facing IT experience. This role suits candidates who enjoy onsite, hands-on technical support in fast-paced laboratory settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide end user computing (EUC) and desktop support to scientists and lab users
- Image, build and onboard laboratory PCs and devices to the network
- Support laboratory instrumentation, device connectivity and data flows
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues
- Use ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for incident management
- Support secure and validated environments, including GxP / non-GxP systems
- Assist with documentation, testing and validation of laboratory systems

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lab Engineer, Lab IT Support, EUC Engineer or Desktop Support Engineer

- Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, subnetting, connectivity)
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
