We are recruiting a Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end technology solutions as part of a large-scale digital transformation programme. This role suits an experienced architect who enjoys owning solution design from requirements through to delivery, working closely with stakeholders, engineering teams and delivery partners.
The role involves:
- Owning end-to-end solution architecture across cloud, integration, data, security and operations
- Designing scalable, secure and cost-effective Azure-based solutions
- Producing high-quality architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, NFRs, options papers and diagrams
- Defining and governing integration patterns (APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures)
- Guiding delivery teams through build, PoCs and technical spikes
- Supporting architecture assurance, design reviews and governance forums
- Championing performance, resilience, security and cost optimisation
Required experience includes:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Cloud Architect / Technical Architect
- Strong Microsoft Azure architecture experience
- Hands-on knowledge of APIs, microservices and modern integration patterns
- Data architecture exposure (e.g. Power BI, Fabric, Synapse, analytics platforms)
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containers
- Strong understanding of security architecture (IAM, RBAC, encryption, GDPR)
- Confident stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have:
- Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Experience in enterprise or complex business environments
