Property Maintenance Operative Location: Cheltenham Salary: Β£36,420 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, MondayFriday, 8.30am5pm Contract Type: Permanent Our client, a leading provider of housing solutions, is seeking a Property Maintenance Operative to join their team onsite in Cheltenham. Purpose of the Role Reporting directly to the Head of Property, the role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the client's onsite accommodation in Cheltenham. Responsibilities include completing repairs, maintenance and installations as required. Duties and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks across the onsite accommodation, including both occupied and vacant properties. Plumbing: Carry out a variety of plumbing repairs and minor installations. Carpentry: Complete a range of carpentry and joinery repairs and installations, including: Installing and/or repairing windows, doors, frames and UPVC components. Fitting or repairing architraves, skirting boards, bath panels, frames, kitchen units, worktops, double-glazed units, locks, floorboards and stud walls. Plastering: Carry out patch plastering as required. Painting and Decorating: Undertake a range of painting and decorating tasks, including: Groundwork: Complete a variety of groundwork, fencing and clearance repairs and renewals. Required Skills Proven experience in general property maintenance. Benefits 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
