Electrical Field Service Engineer We’re on the hunt for a motivated, technically minded Electrical Field Engineer with experience within an electrical/technical installation/maintenance environment.Someone who is competent in electrical/electronic engineering with relevant qualifications or Proven experience in field electronics. You will have to work in a deadline focused environment, meeting tight installation or fault response deadlines to support, maintain and improve products and ancillary equipment. Your day to day work will include corrective and preventative maintenance with the primary objective to satisfy customer requirements and ensure customer /company SLA and KPI targets and contractual obligations are fully achieved. Responsibilities: Perform fault rectification and repair of any installed equipment using diagnostic processes to assess failure. Produce timely and accurate reports on the Jira fault system to ensure that SLAs are achieved and chargeable works are advised. Upload software code and configuration to on vehicle equipment and on street equipment as necessary. Carry out scheduled maintenance of on-vehicle, on-street, Rail Validators, and radio equipment according to schedule. To support and carry out bus surveys and risk assessments, producing method statements to allow a safe system of work. Install on-vehicle equipment, Rail Validators, and on-street hardware. Ideal candidate: Experience within an electrical/technical installation/maintenance environment. Able to work in a deadline focused environment, meeting tight installation or fault response deadlines Competent in electrical/electronic engineering with relevant qualification Or Proven experience in field electronics Additional: 37.5 hr week working 5 out of 7 days.
