The Welfare Officer is responsible for delivering direct advice and safeguarding support to service users on site. The site provides safe, temporary accommodation for all service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an assigned caseload of Service Users within the Initial Accommodation estate.
- Conduct room checks, maintain accurate records, update relevant systems, and follow company procedures at all times.
- Arrange initial transport for Service Users to accommodation or relocation as needed.
- Perform regular welfare checks on Service Users and accommodation sites.
- Manage a property portfolio, ensuring proper maintenance of Initial Accommodation properties and hotels.
- Conduct monthly inspections, report defects, and arrange repairs/replacements in line with inventory procedures.
- Recommend relocations or property terminations to optimise portfolio and void management.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Welfare Officer or similar role.
- Well-organised with effective planning abilities.
- Full UK driving licence required due to the location of the site.
