DCT Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator for our client based in Deeside. The Temporary Works Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of temporary works on construction sites. This role ensures that temporary structures are designed, constructed, and maintained safely and effectively, in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Management: Develop temporary works plans and methodologies. Coordinate with construction managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure temporary works are integrated into the overall project plan. Maintain temporary work logs and records. Attend regular TWC meetings.
  • Design and Compliance: Ensure that all temporary works designs comply with relevant health and safety regulations and engineering standards. Collaborate with design engineers to verify design calculations and specifications.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of temporary works to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Identify and address any issues or concerns related to temporary works on-site.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of temporary works designs, inspections, and modifications. Prepare reports on temporary works progress and compliance for project stakeholders.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments for temporary works and implement appropriate control measures. Monitor and manage risks associated with temporary structures throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Have experience of the relevant types of temporary works.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Factory or Industrial Plant projects.
  • Valid equivalent CSCS Card.
  • Have Temporary Works Certificate.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
