DCT Recruitment Ltd are looking for a permanent senior Landscaper/Team Leader.
The Company
This is an opportunity to join a growing, multi award-winning business that transforms gardens at commercial and domestic premises; we also specialise in sensory gardens and historic environment conservation. We are a small team where each employee is valued and developed, working on exciting and rewarding projects.
The Person
You are an experienced landscaper who will have the ability to supervise others, assist with pricing of work and deal with suppliers. You must be a team player and a hard worker, who is professional, polite and can communicate well with others including clients. You will need a driver’s licence and be able to drive our vans to client’s sites.
The Role
- Project leadership: Lead and supervising a small team of landscape gardeners from concept to completion ensuring design accuracy and timely completion
- Team collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, designers, surveyors, and labourers to execute landscaping projects
- Hard landscaping preparation: such as digging – using manual labour and machinery
- Hard landscape finishing: such as laying paving stone, porcelain or gravel
- Soft landscape finishing: such as laying turf and planting
- Problem Solving: Address on-site challenges with creative, effective solutions to keep projects on track
- Client Engagement: Understand client needs, offer expert advice, and ensure satisfaction with project results
- Assisting with pricing of work
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum 5 years in landscape gardening
- Evidence of meeting deadlines
- Professional appearance
- Health & safety knowledge preferred but not essential as training given
- Landscape and Horticulture qualifications will be an added benefit but not necessary
- Driving licence

- Advanced skills training if required for the role
