Job Description
DCT Recruitment is currently seeking an Scaffolder Part 2 to join a reputable company based in Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scaffolding structures for a power station project.Key Responsibilities:You will be working on Layher System Scaffolding – erecting, modification and dismantling of the structures. You will be working on the multidisciplinary project for various trades.
You will work in small gangs of ¾ scaffolders under close supervision and in accordance to safe system of work. The role includes the selection of material, determining the safe method of erecting and dismantling scaffolds. – Constructing and dismantling scaffolding systems according to industry standards and safety regulations.- Working efficiently and effectively to meet project deadlines.- Ensuring the stability and safety of the scaffolding structures.- Inspecting and maintaining scaffolding equipment.- Collaborating with the project team to coordinate scaffolding requirements.Requirements:-Erect modify and dismantle a wide range of structures to the required standard and while adhering to HSE regulations-Understand relevant legislation and procedures -Understand the preparation requirements – work area, materials and equipment-Know which tools and equipment to use- Valid part 2 or advanced Scaffolder certification.- Proven experience in constructing scaffolding systems using the layer system.- Strong understanding of industry regulations and safety practices.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting project deadlines.Working Hours:- Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (with two 30-minute unpaid breaks).- Saturday: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
