DCT Recruitment are looking for a full-time Reactive Maintenance Planner within our busy highways project team based in Merseyside. The client is responsible for delivering highway and infrastructure projects across Merseyside. A suitable candidate will join the senior project teams in leading and contributing to project programmes, schedules, and delivery, as well as long term contracts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Able to desktop scope/assess work for Traffic Management Requirements
  • Will be office based in Kirkby, Knowsley
  • Able to plan and permit via software

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Traffic Management planning or coordination
  • Strong understanding of street works permitting processes
  • Ability to interpret utility drawings and site information
  • Experience using planning/permitting software (e.g. Street Manager or similar systems)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
