Working as part of the FM team learning and delivering the entire spectrum of FM services, this junior role will grow with learning. For the right candidate, a junior management position with a level of accountability is possible within 3 years. Role will include general tasks such as dealing with post, printing, filing, maintenance and more.
DCT Facilities Management provides expert facilities management (FM) consultancy and operational services, working closely with clients to implement practical solutions rather than just offering recommendations. Our approach emphasises collaboration with in-house teams and service providers, focusing on creating operational structures that are both effective now and adaptable for the future. We aim to streamline FM functions while maintaining or improving service quality, achieving cost efficiencies and enhanced vendor management.
The apprentice will learn (on-the-job) how to provide various FM services to the business, its staff and its visitors. Support the Senior Facilities Coordinators in facilitating successful and productive working relationships between all key stakeholders, end users, the wider FM team and its service providers. Support Senior Facilities Coordinators in acting as the interface between the core business and the FM providers, and as a filter for requests for change from both parties. Support the development and implementation of changes to contracted services to improve service quality, which reflects best practice FM. Aid the Senior Facilities Coordinators in engendering and fostering a partnership approach with the service providers built on co-operation, close liaison, honesty and information transparency. Work with the service providers in pursuit of opportunities for mutual benefit and shared investment (e.g. joint training initiatives), gain-share and innovation. Assist with the monitoring, auditing and checking of the currency of the service provider’s quality management, performance monitoring and management information systems. Ensure that the service provider monitors its own service delivery in accordance with its quality management regime.
