We are currently recruiting for a Gas Quality Engineer to join a leading organisation within the industrial gases sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands‑on technical role, extensive travel, and working within a highly specialised engineering environment supporting customers across the UK, offshore, and internationally.

- Carry out performance evaluations on gas chromatographs in line with ISO 10723:2012
- Conduct ISO 17020 accredited inspections of gas quality measurement systems
- Perform calibrations and validations of gas quality instrumentation on customer sites
- Analyse collected data and produce high-quality technical reports
- Prepare and verify reference gas mixtures in line with accredited procedures
- Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with quality systems and technical procedures
- Travel extensively across the UK, offshore, and internationally to support customer requirements
- Strong academic background, ideally including GCSEs and/or A-Levels in Mathematics and Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Flexible and willing to travel extensively, including offshore and international assignments
- Full UK driving licence required
