This is a great opportunity for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a well-established facilities management business delivering services across large retail environments in the Reading region.

With strong contracts, a steady pipeline of work, and continued growth, this role offers stability, variety, and the flexibility of a mobile position, all supported by an experienced operations team.

You'll be working primarily on service and maintenance, with minimal installation work, keeping your focus on what you do best.

  • Company vehicle provided (no live monitoring or audio)
  • Paid on-call rota with retainer + enhanced rates

You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC systems across multiple retail sites, ensuring systems remain compliant, efficient, and minimise downtime.

This is a field-based role where you'll manage your own workload while delivering a high standard of service across your region.

  • Service, fault-find, and repair commercial air conditioning systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs
  • Work across split systems, VRF/VRV, and packaged units
  • Support general building maintenance tasks where required
  • Complete service reports, compliance documentation, and records
  • Participate in the regional on-call rota

Proven experience within commercial HVAC / air conditioning roles

Experience in a mobile service and maintenance role

Full UK driving licence

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

Multi-skilled background (electrical, gas, or general maintenance)
