DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer in Portsmouth on behalf of a national structured cabling contractor.

Vacancies: 1

Duration: 4 Nights

Working up to 8 hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card e.g. datacoms, field engineer, cabling installer, or network infrastructure
  • Hold a valid IPAF licence for categories 3a and 3b for working at heights – NOT essential but desirable
  • Must have Ukata Asbestos awareness or must be willing to do the course.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
  • Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK (ID) prior to start
  • Have their own PPE and hand tools including termination kit and drill(s)
