A senior Commercial Manager position with full accountability for the financial, contractual, and commercial performance of a diverse project portfolio. Operating as a true commercial leader, this is an on-site, Monday-Friday role, embedded within the business to drive performance, influence decision-making, and lead from the front. You will act as the key integrator across operations, finance, technical teams, and multiple subsidiary business units, ensuring commercial strategy supports delivery, growth, and risk management across a multi-industry environment.

Key Deliverables

  • Own portfolio performance – revenue, margin, cashflow, and cost control
  • Lead commercial strategy from tender through to project completion
  • Drive risk management & governance, ensuring contract compliance
  • Maximise value recovery through variations, claims, and change control
  • Provide hands-on leadership across commercial, cost, and tendering teams
  • Challenge financial assumptions, forecasts, and project positions
  • Strengthen client & supplier commercial relationships
  • Improve cash collection & DSO performance
  • Ensure robust reporting, controls, and audit readiness

  • Strong leadership, commercial judgement, and stakeholder management skills
