The predicted salary is between 21250 - 25500 £ per year.

Our client, a leading joinery and fit out contractor, require an experienced Operations Planner on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to plan and schedule works, and assist with departmental requirements. You will be coordinating with fire door contractors and suppliers to ensure their services are available when needed.

You will be expected to develop your door set knowledge through continuous professional development to fully understand door set performance and best practice attributable to our business. You will also be expected to help mentor trainee planners by providing technical solutions and advice.

Other additional requirements include:

  • Review of estimator information to ensure full compliance with the specification and fire door regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of information for quality plans, Health, Safety & Environmental including RAMS and any CDM requirements
  • Resource programming and planning of works
  • Liaise with various departments/clients/Contracts Manager regarding start dates, programme, delays etc
  • Source material requirements and prepare requisitions for site works
  • Check/create/manage/amend door manufacturing schedules through to delivery on site
  • Set up of digital recording system ready for use on site
  • Check that certified installations are recorded correctly
