DCS Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Roofing & Cladding design manager who would have the opportunity to develop into a senior role within the Business.
Role & Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality design support across a range of roofing and cladding projects, including:
- Producing project-specific working and fabrication drawings
- Reviewing contract drawings and specifications (Architects, Structural Engineers, Steelwork, etc.) and raising design queries where required
- Attending design meetings (site-based and via Teams)
- Liaising directly with clients, architects, and consultants throughout the design process
- Coordinating with system manufacturers and suppliers
- Supporting site teams, supervisors, and installation operatives on design-related matters
- Material scheduling and procurement support
- Site measuring and surveys as required
Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a design-related role within the Roofing & Cladding industry
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across design, commercial, and site teams
The role offers flexibility, with opportunities to gain exposure to other areas of the business as experience develops.
