The company delivers high-profile projects in landmark office buildings, ensuring systems are planned correctly, installed to a high standard, and fully compliant with UK regulations and British Standards.
The opportunity: They are looking for an experienced Senior Security Engineer who knows what “good” looks like on commercial sites and wants to focus on high-quality engineering work. You will be delivering well-scoped access control and CCTV installations across the City and West End, with the support and planning you need to do the job right.
What you’ll be doing:
- Installing, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning access control and CCTV systems.
- Delivering first and second fix works to a consistently high standard.
- Commissioning, testing, and professionally handing over systems.
- Working safely on live commercial sites across the City and West End.
- Representing the business professionally with clients, consultants, and site teams.
This is a hands-on engineering role.
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years’ experience as a Security / Access Control Engineer.
- Strong understanding of UK compliance and British Standards.
- Hands-on experience with access control systems (Gallagher, Paxton).
- Hands-on experience with CCTV systems (Hikvision, Avigilon).
- Confident across installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning.
- Valid ECS card.
Essentials:
- Live within the M25.
- Proven security installation experience (not IT support).
- 5+ years’ work experience with CCTV installation.
- Valid driver’s licence (no day-to-day driving required, but may be needed occasionally).
- Able to work on a call-out rota.
- Able to pass and accept a background check.
- No visa sponsorship available.
Nice to have:
- SSSTS.
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
