We are currently recruiting for a Testing & Inspection Electrician to join one of the UK’s leading electrical compliance and testing providers. This is a mobile role offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial projects, supporting both public and private sector clients. With a strong pipeline of work and long-term contracts in place, this role offers stability, variety, and the autonomy of working across your own regional patch.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and completing remedial works across commercial environments. This is a field-based role where you’ll manage your own workload across multiple sites, ensuring all systems are compliant, safe, and operating efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct EICRs across commercial sites
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out remedial works
- Complete small installations and minor upgrades as required
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments
- Maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices
- Liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works
- Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, nights, and regional travel
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in electrical testing and remedial works
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Experience working in commercial environments
- Good understanding of electrical compliance and safety standards
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- Customer-focused approach
Essential Requirements
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
