DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer in High Wycombe on behalf of a national structured cabling contractor.

Contract date: 20/07/2026
Duration: 8 weeks initially…with potential continuation on later projects following completion
Hours: 8 hour day shifts 8am-5pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- The cabling engineers on this project will be carrying out wifi network upgrades adding new wireless access points and data cabling to existing network infrastructure.
- Predominantly CAT6 and containment, which can involve external work as well as internal.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card or CSCS
- Must have or be willing to complete first aid awareness course
- Must have or be willing to complete Manual Handling, asbestos awareness and working at heights (Course can be provided free of charge)
- Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience
- Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK (ID) prior to start
- Have their own PPE and hand tools including termination kit and drill(s)
