An established engineering and technology company is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of bespoke subsea systems for offshore and defence applications.
The Role
You will work across the full project lifecycle, supporting design, integration, testing and delivery of advanced underwater technologies. This is a hands‑on role involving system assembly, fault‑finding, testing (bench, environmental, in‑water), and customer‑facing activities. Working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to multiple concurrent projects while supporting deployed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of bespoke subsea systems and instrumentation
- Carry out testing and validation activities
- Assemble and integrate mechanical and electronic systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults
- Produce technical documentation and test procedures
- Support customer demonstrations, trials, and training
- Collaborate across mechanical, electronic and software teams
About You
- Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- Good communication and documentation skills

- Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, Systems or similar)
- Understanding of testing/verification processes
