We're looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing Facilities Management business supporting major retail sites across the Coventry area.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong pipeline of work, a supportive team and a regional patch that allows you to manage your own workload without constantly travelling across the country.

The role is predominantly service and maintenance based, with very little installation work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance and delivering a high standard of service.

The Role

You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of commercial HVAC and air conditioning systems across multiple retail sites throughout your region.

Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll manage your own day while being supported by the scheduling and operations teams whenever needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
  • Service, diagnose and repair commercial air conditioning systems.
  • Work on split systems, VRF/VRV systems and packaged units.
  • Maintain equipment including Airedale and DX Cooling systems.
  • Complete service reports and compliance paperwork accurately.
  • Carry out general building maintenance where required.
  • Provide a professional service to customers on site.
  • Participate in the regional on-call rota.

About You

To be considered, you'll ideally have

  • Experience working on commercial air conditioning or HVAC systems.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Previous experience in a mobile service or maintenance role.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
  • Experience working within Facilities Management or retail environments.
  • Experience with Airedale, DX Cooling or similar manufacturers.
  • Additional experience in electrical, gas or general building maintenance would be advantageous.

What's on Offer

  • Company vehicle.
  • Paid on-call rota with retainer and enhanced call-out rates.
  • Regional patch with one engineer covering each area.
  • Predominantly service and maintenance work.
  • Long-term, permanent opportunity with a growing business.
  • Supportive management and operations team.
  • Stable workload with established retail contracts.

If you're looking for a new challenge with a company that values its engineers and offers long-term stability, we'd like to hear from you.

This company is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity. They are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
