Job Description Commercial Gas Engineer Salary: Up to £47,000 + Company Vehicle + On-call Allowance + Overtime Are you an experienced Gas Engineer looking for a new challenge with a business that values its engineers and offers genuine long-term career progression? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management organisation for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team. This is a mobile role covering a portfolio of large retail sites, where you'll be responsible for ensuring commercial gas systems remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with commercial experience or an engineer with a mixture of domestic and commercial experience who is looking to further develop their career within commercial facilities maintenance. Working independently across multiple sites, you'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding and reactive repairs on a variety of commercial gas systems. Service, maintain and repair commercial gas appliances and heating systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Undertake gas testing, purging and commissioning where required. Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations and company procedures. Support wider facilities maintenance activities where appropriate. Participate in the regional on-call rota. Experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer, Mobile Gas Engineer or Heating Engineer. Engineers with a mixture of domestic and commercial experience are encouraged to apply. Commercial Gas qualifications such as CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1/1A or equivalent are desirable. Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work. Full UK Driving Licence. F-Gas qualification. Air Conditioning, HVAC or Electrical experience. Facilities Management or Retail Maintenance background. Multi-skilled maintenance experience. Salary up to £47,000 depending on experience. Company vehicle. On-call allowance.
