DCS are seeking a well experienced Earthworks Estimator in Blackpool. It is desirable but not essential that you have a background in Earthworks. It is essential however, that you can demonstrate your experience in the planning and execution of construction projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate and timely quotations, estimates and cost plans for clients.
- Building and maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for new contracts.
- Working with the Bid Manager to generate the deliverables for the tender and providing management support across all aspects of the tendering process.
- Enhancing existing knowledge through continuous professional development to fully understand current legislation attributable to the business.
- Identifying specialist sub contract packages to be priced and procure comparative pricing for each package.
