Supplying advanced technology such as CMMs, laser trackers, photogrammetry systems, and 3D scanners, this company supports major manufacturers and engineering firms with measurement, calibration, and reverse engineering services. Known for its accuracy, reliability, and technical expertise, it continues to expand its presence in key industrial markets.

The Role

This position offers the opportunity to lead business development activity nationally, identifying new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and generating revenue growth through consultative, solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within UK manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and engineering sectors.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients to enhance account potential.
  • Deliver technical presentations and live demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical and operations teams on proposals and bespoke projects.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor movements, and technological advancements.

About You

  • Proven track record of success in technical or engineering sales.
  • Knowledge of metrology, 3D scanning, or precision measurement systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, target-focused, and flexible with regular national travel.
