Servicing and Test Engineer 📍 Rochdale | On-site | Permanent | Full-time 💰 £33,000 – £40,000 DOE + Benefits Join a specialist engineering team focused on the testing, fault-finding, and commissioning of advanced water purification systems used globally across marine, offshore, and industrial sectors. 🔧 What will you get up to? * Perform electrical/mechanical fault-finding and repair on RO plant equipment * Conduct process and functional testing on assembled water treatment systems * Inspect sub-assemblies including sand filters, valves, pipework, and instrumentation * Complete test certificates, water analysis, and technical inspection reports * Support equipment commissioning, operator training, and site readiness * Manage customer assets within the workshop and coordinate return to stores * Assist in final build, quality checks, and technical documentation 🎯 What you\’ll need to be a successful candidate! * Strong hands-on diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and process systems * Experience with testing, commissioning, and technical reporting * Knowledge of pumps, filtration, pipework, and RO-related equipment * Comfortable interpreting technical drawings and test procedures * Good communication and documentation skills * Organised and proactive with a customer-focused approach 💼 What else you can you expect in return? * Early finish Fridays (1pm) * Company bonus scheme & employer-matched pension * Life insurance & income protection (after 5 years) *Wellbeing support plus career training, development, and holiday buy-back scheme 📩 Apply or get in touch with the DCS Engineering team!
