We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer to join the ever growing team.

Role Overview: As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining various types of mechanical handling equipment (MHE) and associated systems. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced workshop environment, ideally suited for someone with a strong mechanical/electrical engineering background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and servicing on a wide range of equipment including pumps, valves, hydraulics, diesel engines, jet washing systems, filtration systems, and compressed air systems.
  • Work with control systems and three-phase electrics.
  • Carry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Support workshop efficiency and cleanliness, assisting with workflow as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Background in mechanical, industrial, or mechatronics engineering.
  • Hands-on experience servicing capital equipment such as water jet cutting systems, jet washers, pumps, diesel systems, or hydraulic/pneumatic tools.
  • Solid understanding of three-phase electrics and control systems.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a busy workshop environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
