DCS Recruitment are assisting one of our clients with their recruitment for Confined Space Operatives to work in the North West and surrounding areas. This is a Monday to Friday role with the option to earn overtime after 40 hours plus weekend working. Excellent start times are available, with options for staff to work nights and weekends.
Pay: £13.25 - £25.70 per hour
Job description: Industrial Service Operative - CCNSG / CONFINED SPACE. Full Time Role based from Knowley L33. Standard Hours: 7.30am to 4.30pm. Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x before and after start and on weekends. Standard Pay: £13.25 between 7.30am to 4pm. Overtime 1 Pay: £18.42 before 7.30am and after 4pm plus Saturday. Overtime 2 Pay: £24.56 for Nights and Sunday working.
This role requires high safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to work in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, inspection, and cleaning operations in confined spaces.
- Follow strict health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE and breathing apparatus when necessary.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Operate tools, equipment, and machinery as required.
- Identify and report potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and industry regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid Confined Space Entry Certification (Medium/High Risk).
- CCNSG / CSCS or equivalent safety certification (preferred).
- Experience in confined space work, industrial cleaning, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in enclosed spaces.
