DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer in High Wycombe on behalf of a national structured cabling contractor.
Contract date: 20/07/2026
Duration: 8 weeks initially with potential continuation on later projects following completion.
8 hour day shifts: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
The cabling engineers on this project will be carrying out wifi network upgrades, adding new wireless access points and data cabling to existing network infrastructure. Predominantly CAT6 and containment, which can involve external work as well as internal.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling/comms industry related card or CSCS.
- Must have or be willing to complete first aid awareness course.
- Must have or be willing to complete Manual Handling, asbestos awareness and working at heights (Course can be provided free of charge).
- Have a minimum of 2 years comms industry experience.
- Be able to provide relevant work references and proof of right to work in the UK (ID) prior to start.
- Have their own PPE and hand tools including termination kit and drill(s).
