About the Role:
DCS Engineering are currently recruiting a CNC Turner to join one of the longest established largest sub contract aerospace manufacturing companies in the UK.
Competitive salary and 33 days holiday entitlement inclusive of bank holidays along with a fantastic benefits package.
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace components to tight tolerances and exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls
- Manufacture complex aerospace components from technical drawings
- Work to AS9100 and aerospace quality standards
- Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance and efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision or aerospace engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of Mazak machines and Mazatrol programming
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
