We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) to join a leading Aerospace manufacturer based in Lancashire. This is an initial 8-week contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. For the right person, there is also an opportunity to move into a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- CNC Turning within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment
- Setter/Operator responsibilities (programming not essential)
- Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings and quality specifications
You will be working on a range of modern CNC turning centres within a well-equipped aerospace facility.
Shift Patterns
- Days: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
- Early finish on Fridays
- Opportunity to move onto 2pm - 10pm, 4 days per week
- No weekend work
Pay Rate
£25 per hour (Contract)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
- Aerospace experience preferred
- Confident working with CNC turning machines
- Strong attention to detail and quality
