We are looking for two Semi-Skilled Fitters to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous aerospace airframe or structural assembly experience who want to develop their skills within a professional manufacturing environment.
The successful candidates will assemble high-quality aerospace components using a range of fitting processes. You will work accurately from engineering drawings and aerospace specifications while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out the fitting and assembly of aerospace components and structures.

Read and work accurately from engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.

Complete drilling, countersinking and riveting operations.

Apply sealants in accordance with the relevant procedures.

Fit helicoils, bearings and bushes.

Use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely and accurately.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets aerospace quality standards.

Identify and report any defects or quality concerns.

Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.

Maintain high housekeeping standards and comply with 5S requirements.
Key Skills
-
Previous aerospace airframe or structural assembly experience.

Previous experience within the aerospace industry is strongly preferred.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.

Practical experience with drilling, countersinking and riveting.

Experience using sealants and fitting helicoils, bearings or bushes.

Good practical and mechanical skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.

Commitment to safe working practices and 5S standards.
