Mobile Cleaning Supervisor required - North East, Carlisle and Surrounding areas. Monday to Friday – Start and Finish times can vary to meet site requirements which can require a 10‑hour shift to complete, with split shifts where needed. 40hrs per week minimum but extra hours available. Must be flexible – £13.75 per hour.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, outgoing and reliable Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Mobile Supervisor, you will play a vital role to support the growth of the business and also cover clean on our sites. Your role will be responsible for staff training to ensure staff maintain cleanliness and hygiene in various environments while also keeping up to date with policies and procedures. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication and people skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service through quality audits. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our sites are cleaned efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in industrial and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces as well as cleaning machinery and walkways in factories.
- Check site cleaning cupboards, stock and chemical use.
- Support staff through training to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in all assigned areas.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their cleaning needs and preferences.
- Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival at each site.
- Handle cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Complete industrial cleaning using power washes and at‑height equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards encountered during site visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to train and support staff to meet their potential.
- Valid driving licence with the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
