We are currently recruiting for a Testing & Inspection Electrician to join one of the UK’s leading electrical compliance and testing providers. This is a mobile role offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial projects, supporting both public and private sector clients. With a strong pipeline of work and established contracts, this position offers long‑term stability, varied work, and the chance to be part of a well‑structured and professional team.
Salary: £31,000 – £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Role: You will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and completing remedial works across commercial and industrial environments. This role will see you working independently across multiple sites, ensuring all electrical systems are tested, compliant, and operating safely, while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct EICRs across commercial and industrial sites
- Diagnose faults and carry out remedial electrical works
- Complete small installations and system upgrades as required
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point‑of‑work assessments
- Maintain accurate reports and records using mobile devices
- Liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works
- Work flexibly across regional sites, including occasional nights and weekends
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working in commercial environments
- Good understanding of electrical compliance and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
- Customer‑focused approach
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- City & Guilds 2382‑18 (18th Edition)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- City & Guilds 2377 (PAT Testing)
