About The Role
As a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE), you will play a key role in supporting aircraft operations and maintenance activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. Reporting to senior engineering leadership, you will contribute to both base and deployed operations, helping to meet contractual and operational objectives. You will also support team development, contribute to engineering decision‑making, and promote a strong safety‑first and continuous improvement culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all maintenance activities.
- Certify aircraft maintenance and oversee ground movements where required.
- Support operations at main base and deployed locations (UK and overseas).
- Maintain accurate and timely aircraft and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate engineering tasks to meet operational targets and budgets.
- Deputise for senior engineering staff when required.
- Promote Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and security standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold organisational values.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks and compliance.
- Proven experience supervising and motivating engineering teams.
- Ability to work shifts and travel for operational deployments.
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance and ITAR compliance.
