Operating from two fantastic sites, we have our 26-acre Banbury Head Office and warehousing facilities, alongside our state-of-the-art Health and Beauty manufacturing facility in Redditch. As a Line Leader at DCS Group, your key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring all products meet the highest standards of quality assurance, safety, and integrity through quality control checks before release to the warehouse.

Ensure that all packing room operations adhere to quality control standards and perform periodic checks to ensure compliance with product quality specifications.

Perform quality assurance checks on production lines to ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and product standards.

Ensure that all quality-related documentation is maintained accurately and is available for internal/external audits.

Ensure all packing room operations comply with company policy in matters of Health and safety.

Ensure all packing operations are carried out in accordance with GDP, SOPs and company policy.

Ensure the packing lines are set up and ready for shift commencement.

Perform hourly line checks, record hourly totals, report any deviations to the Senior Line Leader.

Use of company software systems to acquire and record data.

Conduct SOS brief (in the absence of the Senior Line Leader) and provide clear EOS handover.

Training and development of sub-ordinates.

Any other duties relevant to the role.

Our ideal Line Leader will have:

• Good standard of education in Math and English

• Experience in managing teams in FMCG production environments

• Experience in managing teams in FMCG production environments (advantageous)

• Working knowledge of Quality and Standard Operating Procedures

• Understanding of quality control procedures in production environments.

• Experience in monitoring quality assurance processes to ensure product and process consistency.

• Methodical mind and attention to detail

• Good leadership skills

• Previous experience in a packaging/production environment (advantageous)

• Good communication, organisational, time management and prioritisation skills

• Ability to solve problems

• Self-motivated, target driven and focused on achieving results

• Computer literate e.g., Excel/Word

• Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
