We offer a very special opportunity to join a welcoming, dynamic, and fun place to work, where you’ll collaborate directly with some of the world’s biggest FMCG power brands. We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Junior Commercial Manager to join us on a permanent, full-time basis within our Sales & Distribution division at our Banbury site.
As a Junior Commercial Manager, your duties will include:
- Negotiating with suppliers to deliver the most competitive pricing and profit levels
- Using a category management approach to provide customers with tailored product ranges and promotions
- Growing business with existing suppliers and identifying new opportunities aligned to profit targets
- Recovering costs associated with residuals, overstocks, and out-of-date stock
- Representing DCS Group at meetings, events, and seminars while building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
What we are looking for in our ideal Junior Commercial Manager:
- Ability to prioritise and make effective commercial decisions in time-sensitive situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate and influence outcomes
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- A team-focused, self-motivated individual who is adaptable to change
