As a Commercial Manager, you will act as a true brand ambassador, owning and driving category growth across Wholesale, Convenience, E-commerce and Health sectors. You will play a key role in strengthening supplier and customer relationships, delivering profitable growth and ensuring commercial excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Owning and developing category growth across multiple channels
- Driving cash flow improvement through management of supplier aged and disputed debt
- Recovering costs associated with residuals, overstocks and out of date stock
- Delivering a tailored category management approach to customers, aligned to their individual needs
- Communicating and negotiating effectively at all levels, internally and externally
- Acting as a clear communication link between sales teams, customers and suppliers
- Representing DCS at internal meetings, external events and industry seminars
- Owning the end to end product recall process, ensuring full compliance at every stage
Qualifications
- An effective communicator with outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills
- Confident and credible when negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly motivated, proactive and commercially focused, with a positive can do attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, able to prioritise effectively and make sound commercial decisions under pressure
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others to achieve shared goals
This role is based from our Banbury Head Office and is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.
