We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the corporate aviation sector for an experienced Unlicensed Aircraft Mechanic to join their growing engineering team based in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-performing maintenance environment, supporting both line and base maintenance operations on business jet aircraft.
The Role
As part of a skilled engineering team, you will be actively involved in delivering high-quality aircraft maintenance in accordance with Part 145 regulations and company procedures. You will play a key role in ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and compliance standards, while also supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with aircraft maintenance tasks in line with approvals and experience
- Support both line and base maintenance activities
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved data and regulatory requirements
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and records
- Assist with maintenance planning and scheduled inputs
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely task completion
- Provide professional communication and support to customers and flight crew
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and compliance within the hangar
- Assist with audits, tool control, and calibration requirements
- Contribute to a positive safety culture and support team development
About You
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance
- Experience working on business jets / corporate aircraft is essential
- Ideally experienced on Bombardier aircraft types
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and operational demands
Salary & Package
- Up to £44,461 basic salary (depending on experience)
- £3,500 shift allowance per annum
- Higher salary and additional payments available for candidates holding an ‘A’ Licence
- Overtime available (paid or time off in lieu)

Working Pattern
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- Day shift (07:00 – 19:00)
- Average 40 hours per week
- Initial training may require weekday working
- Flexibility required for occasional overtime or on-call support
