Mechanical Project Engineer (Senior Consultant – Design Engineering & Embedded Systems)

We’re looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Project Engineer to deliver bespoke, turnkey projects from concept to commissioning. You’ll join a forward‑thinking engineering business that values innovation, safety, and teamwork – managing multiple small to mid‑size mechanical projects (typically £10k–£250k) across Glasgow.

What You’ll Do

• Lead mechanical and process installation projects from design to handover.
• Develop tailored mechanical solutions and CAD designs to meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to scope and cost projects.
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• HND/Degree in Mechanical (or related) Engineering.
• 2–3+ years’ experience in project‑based engineering (mechanical or process).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing/production methods and CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc).
• Proven ability to deliver turnkey installations end‑to‑end.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence (field‑based with site visits).
