ABOUT US
DCS is a fast-growing fintech company building a global payment infrastructure across issuing, acquiring, and alternative payment rails. As our merchant network continues to expand, maximizing the value of existing partnerships is critical to driving sustainable transaction growth. We are seeking an Account Director (Merchant Growth & Engagement) to drive post-onboarding growth across our merchant portfolio. This role takes over after the initial BD incubation phase and focuses on increasing wallet share, improving transaction performance, and preventing churn. You will act as the owner of merchant portfolio performance, driving transaction volume, success rate, and long-term partner value. By leveraging data insights, joint initiatives, and flow optimization, you will ensure merchants are fully activated and continuously scaled within our ecosystem.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Merchant Portfolio Growth Ownership: Own performance of assigned merchant portfolio, driving GTV growth, wallet share expansion, and churn prevention. Identify growth opportunities across key merchants and develop account-level strategies to scale transaction volume.
- Merchant Engagement & Value Expansion: Drive joint growth initiatives with merchants (e.g., campaigns, payment placement, cashier prompts) to increase usage and conversion. Strengthen merchant relationships and position DCS as a strategic payment partner.
- Payment Flow & Performance Optimization: Optimize payment flows, integration methods, and routing logic to improve transaction success rate and user experience. Identify and resolve friction points across the payment journey to enhance conversion and efficiency.
- Cross-functional Execution: Collaborate with Product, Tech, Risk, and Operations teams to implement optimizations and deliver scalable merchant solutions. Ensure timely execution of initiatives and continuous improvement of merchant performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6–10+ years in Account Management, Partnerships, or Growth roles within payments, fintech, or e-commerce ecosystems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or any relevant degrees.
- Proven experience in managing and scaling merchant portfolios, driving transaction volume, retention, and account-level growth.
- Strong ability to analyze transaction data, identify growth levers, and optimize performance metrics (e.g., success rate, conversion).
- Ability to engage merchants as strategic partners and drive joint initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
- Experience working with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to implement solutions and improve merchant performance.
- Familiarity with online payments, acquiring, e-commerce platforms, or digital transaction flows.
