Working closely with senior technology leadership, you will act as the senior technical escalation point across Cloud Operations, leading high-priority incident response, technical triage, infrastructure improvements, and operational maturity initiatives. You will also provide guidance and mentoring to engineers within the wider operations function while collaborating across development, security, QA, and database teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Azure-hosted production environments
- Supporting infrastructure and deployment activities
- Driving monitoring and observability improvements
- Leading root cause analysis activities
- Overseeing higher-risk platform and infrastructure changes
- Supporting resilience testing, vulnerability remediation, and operational governance within a regulated environment
The successful candidate will bring deep hands-on Azure experience across App Services, networking, compute, and cloud operations, alongside strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tooling, and operational Microsoft SQL Server support. Experience operating within complex SaaS or enterprise cloud environments is highly desirable.
This contract would suit someone who combines strong technical capability with calm, decisive leadership during critical incidents and operational challenges.
